Template Editor

The template editor is a visual tool for designing certificate templates. It works like a simple graphic design tool — drag, drop, and customize elements on a canvas.

Getting Started

  1. Open the template editor from the navigation or from within an order
  2. Choose to start from a blank canvas or an existing template
  3. Use the toolbar to add elements to your certificate

Working with Elements

Text

Add text elements for titles, descriptions, and dynamic fields. You can customize:

  • Font, size, and color
  • Alignment and positioning
  • Dynamic placeholders (e.g., recipient name, issue date)

Images

Upload images for logos, backgrounds, and decorative elements. Supported formats include PNG, JPG, and SVG.

Layers

Elements are arranged in layers. Use the layer panel to:

  • Reorder elements (bring to front, send to back)
  • Lock elements to prevent accidental changes
  • Toggle visibility while editing

Dynamic Fields

Dynamic fields are placeholders that get replaced with actual data when certificates are generated. Common dynamic fields include:

  • Recipient name — the full name of the certificate recipient
  • Issue date — the date the certificate was issued
  • Custom fields — any additional data from your recipient list

Saving and Using Templates

Once your design is ready:

  1. Click Save to store the template
  2. The template becomes available when creating order groups
  3. You can edit the template later (changes only affect future issuances)
